Do you mean to say that they're actually playing villain for villainy's sake? or do you mean just stories where the villainess is the MC? I can't really tell from your example, tbh.

I'm fond of the latter, but I can't say I've read a lot of the former. One I could recommend though would be:

-told from the perspective of the villain so i give it a pass for making the supposed MCs seem like the baddies, but she does act as an aloof villainess if we reverse perspectives. It fits perfectly though.

these stories are set in a way that the villainessare not really a villainess but the main heroine is the real villainess
what i want is a mc(who is a villainess in previous life) acts like a proper villainess and not like some brain dead fangirl for every man on that kingdom
