@blurgh123 Well, if vampires could still eat regular food and be able to taste it even though they don't get any nourishment, wouldn't they want to still eat the foods they liked when they were still human? If I was to be turned into a vampire I know I'd hate to lose my ability to enjoy chocolate. As long as regular food doesn't turn to ash in my mouth I'd still eat food between drinking blood, maybe even soak some of the food in human blood to add a slight nourishing affect to my food. Just because it's not necessary doesn't mean it can't still be enjoyed, right? :)

Blood-soaked chocolate. I wonder how that'd taste for a vampire...
