API?

I’m aware MangaDex is being attacked rn, but in the future I’d like to make a program to download some manga for offline. Is there any plans for a public api or something?

The ability to download chapters will probably be coming fairly soon.

The API we use is public, if you want to make something yourself.

@Holo ohh... ohhh... api is nice. I think I can figure out most of it now. But if possible, some small documentation would be nice. Another question. Download functionality would download images to view or will there be some small app to handle download functionality? Thanks!

So far I've found chapter and manga, but I'm wondering if theres a way to get my list... Is there?

The endpoints are only for chapter and manga for now. When v4 is live, the API will include everything else.

The download functionality would download the images in a .zip for offline viewing. Android and iOS apps are also planned, but they are probably going to be Q4 this year or later..
