@Darklight99 Honestly, it surprises me that people immediately saw some gay vibes in Momoko, but almost did not pay attention to the more than frank, probably, bisexuality of the blonde girl. In general, I hope that if she and Momoko really become a couple, then it will not be toxic "oh, we could not get men, so we will love each other!".

@theHist It is because of such a fetishization, yuri fandom and turns into a mirror yaoi fangirls. Even if she really turns out to be a lesbian, you will not be interested in her experiences or feelings, but that she is “gaaay) 00” and that you may ship her with other girls.

And please, don't be offended by that, it may very well be a phase for her, just because she is interested in girls first don't mean that she has to grown to be a full hardcore certified lesbian. Bi maybe, not nothing is settle yet.
The reason why I'm thinking this is because I would like to see if Okada manages to develop this right.

I already watched the first episode.
It was good bu unremarkable.
A shame that it didn't got a better director/studio like March Comes Like a Lion anime.

@SuperOniichan and @Panino Who knows, japanese writers always do so much random drama it's pretty hard to say what's gonna happen, but I'm gonna be dropping this manga anyways, not because of Yuri or anything, but because of the fucking drama. Spoilers for chapter 29:

Lesbian girl has confessed to blonde that she loves her, blonde loves the male childhood friend, female childhood friend and male childhood friend also love each other, but male childhood friend says that while he loves his friend, he is sexually attracted to blonde. All the while the teacher is tied to a chair with the girl who writes erotic novel tying him up. This is so absurdly stupid, and not in a good way. Positive is that long black haired girl and her boyfriend are still together and going good it seems, and honestly that's all I care about anyways. So I've had enough with this stupidity. I'm done.

@Panino I understand what you want to say, but it clearly does not suit such an author as Okada. She is too convinced feminist and a realistic author for this. Yes, the search for one’s own identity in childhood can be a very complex thing, but I doubt that this is the case.

@Darklight99 Okada is one of my all-time favorite screenwriters, think I wouldn't look at the raws? :) Well, we can only hope that the anime will cover all the manga.
