This mc is pathetic. Clearly he was wronged, and as if those guards who work for nobility could actually go solo like that and arrest people by their own judgement (clearly they are just tools and follow orders)..
It's just plainly irritatin when authors write these protagonists who lack the needed intelligence to be admirable to us readers. And this tool just forgave everything like that with no demands.
