@musicfreak12 if they did that, then the author can't draw nice action scenes Regardless, it looks like he wanted some kind of peril our group needs to overcome, seeing that the last picture was bunny girl seemingly being mortally wounded. If all this manga was about the MC kicking ass every single time without fail, then there wouldn't be much plot because for a good story you need problems/oppositions that actually seem dangerous enough to make it a challenge.

Well, he's got a pretty large variety of metals with different properties.
And he ought to be a gun otaku, meaning he knows a lot about guns.
And he's able to freely manipulate any metals as he wants.

Basically, he's got the Technology (knowledge) , Materials (Resources) and Production (metal manipulation) needed to do it.
Not saying it would succeed on the first try, but he can always just reuse the metal.
