Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou - Vol. 6 Ch. 36 - Demons

I go love the fact that he's really not a chunnibyo. Fate and circumstances have simply conspired to make him appear as such.

That was the obvious answer to an easy problem. Jeez, this had waaaaay more impact than the anime did.

Why indeed, I really wonder why would anyone do such a thing. Oh, the imanity!

@Chaosfun He is a chunnibiyou. He's just in denial until a certain someone blackmailed him with that info.

Why?
Let’s see:
He tried to kill all people within the town
Threatened and tried to kill everyone present
Poisoned the teacher in an attempt to kill her
He was spewing many lies
We literally see just how horrible his true nature is as he tries to plead for help like the pathetic worm he is
And above all, he made fun of his look

I see plenty of reasons to kill him, the simple fact that he was your enemy was good enough of a reason. There is no talk no jutsu here, only a simple solution to a simple problem.

Teacher needs to wake up. This isn't some just some slight mishap happening on some field trip or something. They're in a completely different world, with no proper understanding of how to get back, and in a very dog eat dog kind of world. You think you're going to bring everyone back safely, think again. Especially when some of them turn out too far gone to even really save, or risk keeping around. Sensei's foolish optimism is what will get the entire class killed if she's stupid enough.

@Jeikob
Kouki was neccesary to shpw the diffence between the systems "hero" and someone heroic, also it was cool to see his reactions at the end, when they saw what MC went through.

Too bad they didn't include the scene back in the dungeon house/lab where he sees himself in the mirror one day and then spends the rest of the day cringing under his covers.
But I'm at least glad that we got to see him being self-conscious about his chuuni looks here.

@Siikalahna
Teacher is already grown though. Here's the thing, She's not delusional. She knows damn well what she's asking for is a pipe dream. An impossibility. But she still strives for that very thing. She's similar to Emiya Shirou from Fate Stay Night in that regard. Stubborn to a fault because giving up is never an option for her.

@Trov and that stubbornness is what will get her and others killed. You can't always save em all, are you willing to gamble away everyone else's life to try to save one that has clearly gone off the deep end? Then that just turns her into an unsuitable guardian for anyone. I wouldn't want her to jeopardize my own safety so she can attempt to save those who sold out to demons and such.
