Most people are suckers for a happy ending, myself included, but that was so damn cliche and lame it did nothing for me but make me think "Well that was entirely obvious and unsatisfying". I don't think this series did anything but be unexceptional, unoriginal, predictable and outright mediocre. This kind of ending chapter has happened hundreds of times, and of those times almost everyone has been done better than this ending.

All I can say is that Tachibana was worse than stalker in the end. Showing up at your parent's house uninvited and telling them your his wife??? How did she get his address?

This was actually bad. It's a shame author followed the formula(apartment, beautiful young landlady, poor students guy in love with her, crazy occupants, etc.) but failed so bad because I do like the formula. I think the characters are supposed to carry this kind of story, yet imo, the characters in this just plain sucked and I can't even say why.

I think I'm going to need some Maison Ikkouku or Love Hina to cleanse my palate.
