I think they just expect it to show up again during the Olympics because there is a possibility it's man-made. There's no reason a real kaiju would even care about human events.

@Nivek I wasn't talking about the kaiju's nature but the humans' thought process. The reason the humans expect something to happen during the Olympics is because they think there is a possibility the kaiju was man-made. If they actually believed it to be an actual kaiju, there would be no reason to expect it to show up during the Olympics because it wouldn't make sense for it to even be aware of the event.

@sssr maybe the kaiju could be drawn to the olympics not for the Olympics itself but maybe something at the olympics. For example, a radioactive mineral or element buried deep under the olympic stadium

That idol thing is going to go so wrong. It's set up that nobody knows anything about it but Asa, and Asa will probably not be around as she'll have to go on that mission; or maybe they'll try to forbid her from doing anything that might expose her or somesuch. Realistically this'll be some sort of sleazy thing that'll get her friend raped or worse. Hopefully not :\
