@forikorder yes they are. I think the author wanted to convey that the manga has finally caught up with the flash forward at the end of chapter 1.

@jmann that is exactly what happened lol. The notes in Volume 1 state that the one-shot was turned into Chapter 1 with almost zero edits. However, the author realized that was skipping waaaaaay too far into their relationship.
