So many things to say about this chapter!
First, we've been bamboozled. I thought we'd get to see the interactions already dammit! We need the next one T_T
Second, I feel sorry for Dad. Like, seriously, let's be real. Your only daughter gets her FIRST boyfriend, and you're the last to find out. They actively hide it from you. Mom found it in summer, Keita not much later... And Dad 6 months in the dark. It's not fair. "No matter how early I got home, I was always the last one to find things out". That hit like a fucking truck. And as I said, this is not even "he's the last to find out cause he was out working". 6. months.
