Asebi and Adventurers of Sky World - Vol. 4 Ch. 19 - Determination and curtain fall

She didnt want to kill, but being forced to do so.
Its a sad end for her.

Gram is based as hell. Everyone hates him but that shot was beautiful and she needed to die. I rolled my eyes when Yuu cried about 'revenge'. That wasn't revenge, that was putting down a merciless killer.

But yeah, as others have pointed out, I doubt she's completely gone as she appears on the cover of future volumes. It's kind of annoying since she's probably only alive due to being a hot cute girl, but I do have a boner for redemption stories so I don't really mind in the end at all.

The redemption thing would work a hell of a lot better if she was neutral to the entire situation. Never smiling, never reacting with any kind of emotion... just blank, thinking she is nothing more than an automaton, so she looks for the efficient solution... Now, that would work. Having her smile anytime she killed someone or ruthlessly stab someone makes this fall flat. Maybe the actual redemption arc has a lot of substance to it... but the start is just bad.

My problem with Gram is that his journey pretty much guarantees he just adds more people to the pile of dead(especially the pile he was in command of), possibly to where he adds a SECOND ship to it. He says it is for his comrades... I have to say bullshit to that statement, considering that kinda means his current comrades are lesser than people who are already dead.
So, either he cares a lot about the living, but he needs to get his head out of his ass, or he needs to admit he doesn't truly care about anyone else other than himself and his ego.

If Skynet ever sends terminators after us, they will look nothing like Arnold. They will be adorable twin tails girls and they will be able to mimic human emotions well enough to make a man hesitate to shoot.

"If someone harms my friends or gets in the way of our journey, i'll never forgive them!"
big words from someone who was only just letting a murderous android go. where'd that lecture about mercy sneak to? Gram's the only one with his head screwed on tight
