It's good - the MC and heroines' development was excellent, though, not so much for the side characters, and the romance between the MC and heroine isn't delved into deep enough. Still a good read though, makes you forget that the author writes horror manga, probably a 7/10.

My only gripe with this manga is that we don't see enough of Ashita's side of the story until the final acts. She was just as, if not more, wracked with regret over the relationship ending. I can't tell if Ashita's ability to remain in good spirits until the final act is bad writing or really good writing... On the one hand, she seems kinda detached from reality whenever she's around Kyouichi. On the other hand, she might be able to remain composed because she unconsciously knows that it's all gonna work out in the end... since she literally wrote how everything would happen 10 years before the events transpired.

The concept of the UFO retroactively makes sense because it's a physical manifestation of Ashita and Kyouichi's regrets and desires.
The UFO only appeared because Ashita was so wracked with guilt while writing her story "Ashita Dorobou."

Was the UFO under-utilized? Definitely, but it made sense as a plot device.

She willed her story into existence.

I liked this story, but it definitely felt rushed in the end. At the very least it wrapped things up, and that’s more than most stories.

A big lingering question is why did the UFO appear specifically for these two characters? Being a manifestation of regret is cool and all, but it’s just never explained why these two are special. Everyone has guilt and regrets, and a bad breakup isn’t really the worst thing to happen to a person in the grand scheme of things.

There was also a hint of it happening in Russia a long time ago and that’s why the “soldiers” knew about it. They kind of dropped that plot thread and the perpetrators got away with it anyways.

The second work I've read of this author, the same deal. Its a nice story, but feels like between this and that I missed a whole story. Also the ending feels rushed and leaves a lot unexplained.
