Ashita no Kimi ni Dekiru Koto - Vol. 0 - Oneshot

Its satisfying to finally see a time traveler who got the job done and properly went back without drama.

I was expecting a better ending, of the kind they met in a certain number of years and discovered the truth.
I understand that it is an oneshot but so something has been lost at least in my opinion, has not even tried to explain the reason for the temporal journey. :/

No, what i meant was all that pathological yearning for substanceless "good endings" (sic), that GL community has. There's overwhelming amount of crappy, forgettable shoujo ai works, both in short and long formats, that are just about that, so i don't get why when something different comes along, there's always bitching about it not being #yourusualstuff. *

...and complaining about time travel or reasons for it is just nitpicking, because it is nothing more than a plot device. It's as fruitless as discussing drugs from Relife or zombies from Walking Dead. This manga isn't a sci-fi, nor it is a romance** - it may use those genre's elements, but the story's mainly about personal growth, working toward earning your happiness, and changing yourself for the better.

*even "Purple Qualia" have been criticized for lack of outward declaration of love by some
**obviously personal opinion, but i think i'm right, so you know, fight me

I see, I had not seen it this way, you're actually right this oneshot serves to show in particular the growth of the protagonist thing that I had not noticed.
Thanks for the explanation mikegnesium. :)
