Ashita wa Doyoubi - Vol. 2 Ch. 25 - Winter Uniform

kind of funny change there... oh well, that's what available after all...

thos girl as usual complitly derpy... but somehwat lucky in the end... XDXD

I don't understand the change though, why wouldn't you just continue to use the Japanese names?

I agree with DrWhoCares, if you already know the correct names why change them to the chinese version?

@DrWhoCares & @Gimmy
To clarify to the both of you, I actually don't. I used a spanish raw to help me. By then, if new characters come in and Spanish raw didn't have the names yet. How am I supposed to know what the names are? I rather keep consistent with the Chinese Raws I had.

I'm not one to look free translations in the mouth, but if the Chinese raws are using different names than the Japanese, then the Chinese raws are wrong. Is this a case of us getting a translation of a translation? It's a simple enough comic so I doubt we'll lose much but still.

@NibbPower we have three characters and they already have names. All the other characters are likely to have appeared in the original manga...?

If the chinese raws have different names, imo they are not a raw, but just only a bad translation. I mean the names of the main characters are well known from the main manga, the tv series and the spinoffs. So those changes don't make any sense at all. Please stick with the original names as far as possible. Besides that thanks for your work on this.

@NibbPower as everyone else said.
I mean at the beginning you literally stated I'm changing X into Y.

So instead of doing that, wherever you see Y, make it X again.

In Chapter 28, I'll get the names right once I find someone to correct my chapters.

I'm somewhat sure the names are different in Chinese the same way Japs read Chinese names differently. So not necessarily an incorrect translation otherwise.

Late, but the Chinese and Japanese should have the same names since the have the same characters. They just read it differently, e.g. 本田 being read as Bentian by the Chinese and Honda by the Japanese.

…I'm just gonna say it. This name change is dumb, and the scanlator is dumb for thinking this is a good idea. For God's sake, you could go into the Korean raws and find out the correct pronunciation of the names.
