6 hours of commuting each day, jeez. I commute for 4 a day but that's my limit already.

@kinlyn Rent can get really expensive depending on where you live. When I was living in Boston I'd pay $1000 a month to rent a single room in a crappy 4 bed/1 bath apartment. A studio runs about $1500. Don't even get me started on New York or San Francisco...

On bad days, I average 1.5 hours one way. On good days, 45 minutes. I can't fathom a quarter of my day wasted on a train or car.

Wow so 1/4 of her day is just spent on going to work. If you include the actual work time, sleeping, eating, baths, etc she basically has no free time to her self on days she has work. I hope she makes the most of her days off. For me it take 1 hr to go to work and 1 hr to come back so 2 hrs.
