That bad smell fetish is something I can't really understand. I'd guess it's some form of masochism. If it's not that, then is it only a trigger for something? Like lots of people get a kick of out of being scared, so can some then get excited by being disgusted? Beyond that I can't even begin to analyse it. But then again, I'm no psychology expert.

Is the author just writing this manga as a means to have a self-insert describe his own disturbing fetishes? That would make so much sense. Somehow the juxtaposition of crushing melodrama with the surprisingly absurdist sexual comedy lends this whole thing an unusually off-putting vibe I can't describe.
