Automaton - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Akira

I never like superhero story but somehow this picked my interest. There's something about the art that kinda reminds me with Zetman. Anyway thank you for translating this chapter.

I'm betting the reason why the MC was chosen for the experiment was that his aunt sold him to Elon Musk.

Nice to see a an actual 3rd solution to that silly trolley problem. Not that the problem itself is silly. It's just tragically overused and with no one ever thinking outside the box.

Didn't even realize the chapter was 80 pages long. Totally engrossing.

What about changing the economic model of society so humans can carry out living without depending on a job structure that is being replaced by automation?

No? you want vigilantism to enforce an unfair social structure by the use of absolute force instead, by tackling the symptoms while ignoring the root of the problem? alright Tom Rock, you do you, you kidnapping mad scientist.

I am hooked.

I'm hooked... I like this story and another works from this author. Simple but still entertaining

Tom Rock is the entrepreneur the world both needs and deserves. It's like seeing a simulation of how Elon will get his Mars crew.

Like the concept but in reality people are more likely to implement a universal basic income and humans would start doing more specific jobs
