Awkward Senpai (Webcomic) - Ch. 30

It's a dangerous personality trait to always berate people for small, insignificant mistakes because anyone can make them, including the one doing the berating.

Her berating is misguided, but it's not about establishing personal superiority; she's basically playing the tiger-mom here. She wants him to become better at his job than she presently is at hers.

I was going to say, "why not just use the universal hand sign for phone? Thumb to ear, pinky to mouth."
Then I was hit with the sudden realization that I'm old and that most of the younger generations wouldn't understand that. I can feel myself decaying as we speak...

Ok, boomer.

I would probably hate her if I was her kouhai, but as a reader, seeing what's behind the "mask", I can't help but think she's adorable.

she is try being straight senpai to teach him. nothing actually abusive. unless you have weak mentality, then don't do job that involved interacted with other people.

However harsh she is, the dude's boss would probably be even worse so it's honestly best to point out all his mistakes for him while he can still be passed off as a relative newbie...

That and she's too awkward to correct him the nice way.

@yourself "dangit", so probably not ye olde english (man I hate it when tl's decides to tl archaic speech with unreadable gibberish like milk"shakespearian")

@Yourself

A near-universal in manga is that something like Tokyo dialect is normalized, and when a character deviates it is in using Kansai dialect.

(Obviously, it's impossible to speak in anything that is not a dialect.)

Obviously I’ll never hear what a Kansai dialect sounds like in real life, but girls hiding Kansai dialects is one of my favorite tropes in anime/manga.
