Because out of all the dorm furniture that we commanders can buy, there are absolutely NO FURNITURE resembling a bathtub or pool for shipgirl/subgirl use.
Its only recently with the current event “Divergent chessboard” a german themed event toting Kriegsmarine shipgirls that we actually GET ONE bathtub.
...and its a literal Bath of BEER. Because German.
Even more recently is the christmas event stuff. Where we have a Giftbox bathtub with water, but probably wasnt around when this chapter was made.

Will this change? I hope so. Cleanliness is important, even if they are personified warships.
