i was kind of expecting the sumo to be much more dominant considering the setup

out of curiosity, how do real world sumo vs martial arts fights tend to go? just from reading this, I get the impression the baki author is trying to make up explanations for why sumo loses, what with the big guy giving up after being downed and this guy refusing to follow up on orochi
