It's either the author like ooo the best or it's just the setting (based on character ages it's either W, ooo or Fourze). Though honestly ooo isn't that much of a nostalgia since it isn't my childhood's kamen rider.
Well, the translators are taking a bit of liberty with their translation. In the raw, the panty drop line is 目にもの見せてやる (Basically, "I'll show you!") which has no sexual connotations nor does it mention any sorts of undergarment. While I do think that completely literal translations, given differences in expressions and sentence structure, isn't good scanlation practice, I'm not so sure about adding characterizations that just aren't there.
Anyway, just leaving this here as a follow up to the previous chapter where I'd been wondering about the crude language of the MC in the translation. (The way MC speaks from what I've seen glancing at the raws is pretty casual/masculine and could definitely be considered rude.)
@Garrett well some titles after Kamen Rider Wizard have good stories. But design wise, they looked ridiculous. That's only because the design is aimed to sell more toys. After Decade, the good costume design, imo, is only W.
@artuga
Yeah, that's my main issue with the new series, it's basically a giant ad to sell toys. And the belts talk too much during henshin.
But I agree that some stories are well developed, I stopped watching after Drive, though.
@Garrett another drive for me to watch toku is the women casts. They are like a treasure trove of cute or beautiful girls. My favorite is the heroine from Wizard.
