Holy fucking shit this is the first time i see something copyrighted in a manga. I thought they'd just call it a game of living or some asterix'd spinoff
Well, they did intro it as a game that has been in constant revision since it was initially released, which does explain why there were many differences from what it was like when I last played it in the early 1970s.
There is one way in which it really does resemble real life. Things never go as planned.
That was funny. Reminded me a lot of the chapter in Gamers! when they play a variation of this one. Was also hilarious with the misunderstanding all deepening.
@mutsutakashi - I don't know ... the guy is named Takara, and the childhood friend is nicknamed Tomii ... (as in Takara Tomy, two separate toy & game companies that merged into one in 2005).
