Non-endings are par for the course in manga. Either from premature cancellation or from the author never bothering with a proper ending, thus leaving it intentionally and annoyingly open ended.

I can count with the fingers of a mutant ninja turtle's hand, the number of mangas with well rounded satisfying finales.

That said, this wasn't that bad.

PS: If you thought this was bad, look at Ranma's ending.
