The towers are a feint, right? Holding 5 towers is too much trouble when you can just bleed the opposing team's forces with snipers. Even if you don't take the terminal, they can't safeguard the terminal of a dead team mate without dragging the whole corpse.

@zetsubouzanto The problem is, no one is able to match the King's power. He's practically a walking bulldozer with the way he crushed those walls.
Sadly it was proven in the previous chapter that the MC can't use the 5x strength well.

Well... Yuuri already tried attacking him with the x5 ability and was stopped with ease. So she's not a match at all. Especially if we're to believe that they both have the same ability. Someone with a higher base stat would be better with the multiplier after-all. I also completely don't believe that he's the real King. I actually sorta doubt that it could even be his partner - the gloomy glasses guy. I'm curious where the Blue team is going to wind up in all of this - perhaps the Leader of the Blue team got offered to play the King role for the Red Team which is awful tempting. I mean think about it, that position is expected to do next to nothing while earning free shit. Especially if you get offered by both teams to participate in the war - why would you put your life in the hands of one of the other leaders?
This would also secure that the Red Team would have no threat of being betrayed by the Blue Team since... well the Blue Team can't change sides at that point with the Leader essentially being held hostage.

The Blue Team kind of implied this... that the Negotiation that Akira had with them failed. The Leader said as he left that the 'outcome has already been decided'.
This would make sense if the Blue Team was approached by the Red Team already and made them the offer that I'm theorizing - The Blue Team was willing to hear out the Green Team but then got a much MUCH worse offer from them. And they have no reason to reveal the other offer - Akira got outplayed plain and simple.

I really hope they don't find a shone way of making everyone survive... It would destroy too much of the tension.

Probably one of the worse scenarios is if the traitor is the king. If that were the case, then this manga would really have to do some explaining on what counts for someone to be on one team and not the other.

This chapter was alright. The king coming out was expected but still kind of interesting. My only problem is I'm not really invested in any of the characters that starred in the this chapter. Also, I wouldn't say there were any too terribly interesting interactions between said characters. Everyone was basically talking to themselves.

I'm hoping the reveal of glasses dude from the other team is interesting. I think him and the MC are the brains behind the game, so I want to know their strategies.
