It's not like Ryū has all the time in the world to just spontaneously re-develop the ball mastery he lost, he's still a regular school student after all, not a teenager at a pro-club.
Not only that, but he has been doing things by himself! It's not like he hasn't been beating players and scoring...
You're going on like it's simple af to bounce back from a career-ending injury and go right back to where you were, in minimal time... not even talented pro-footballers at the highest level can do that...

I know this is a fictional series, but you gotta appreciate how grounded it is. We here for the long haul bruh! Ain't no Naruto power-ups here

That's right rondo football is easy in 3-4-3 because the formation keep having a diamond as long as the team move the ball around and having a diamond you can always have a 3 players that you can have short passes and 7 players that you can play with long passes and those long pass can be through pass a chance to score.
