@Supcolors he really doesnt know any other tamer, but honestly thinks that his powers are normal for tamers, coz his mind cant accept the implication that hes really strong for his class, so for him the things he can do are definitely the base skill set of a tamer

He knew tamers. His hometown was full of them. It's where he learned how. He believed it was normal because it was normal there. But demons massacred the whole village when he was out. After that he joined the hero group.

IIRC, It's kinda hinted that his village was attacked precisely because the tamers there strong as fuck and the demons saw that as a huge threat.
