Thanks for the update! What an... unexpected request. I mean, I saw the raws and judging from the father's reaction, I was already believing ML would be asking for the daughter in some way. To think it was something else.
 
poor dad he doesnt deserve more work he just wants to hang out with his daughter
 
The crown prince did all this just so her father would become busy and she would visit her father everyday so in turn she could visit the crown prince?!

Lol, that was a smooth move. But how is she going to visit him??? Her brother is going to find out right away haha. Though, he probably can't go against the Crown Prince's direct orders...? So he'll be forced to sit back and watch his little sister visit him each time? Hahaha he's an evil genius.
 
i swear i thought he was going to ask for yeon's hand in marriage but he did this thing that makes him look good AND gives him opportunity to see yeon dfljkafdjlk genius. secret genius. (i don't think he cares about his reputation but if it's for others then the officials can't be like no, even though elder ryu tried lmaoooo)

My small brain can't fathom the Crown Prince's request. Sure, it is a roundabout way so she would go back to the palace, but I don't know how.

Because her dad and brother are there, they're very busy now.
See, Yeon will go to the palace to visit them every day now 😅

I thought the father and brother would make a ruckus when she said she used a nabi, but then they were like nothing, but when she met the prince the first thing the soldiers thought was that she was a prostitute, so what gives?
 
Ooooh, I know understand! He had to come up with something so she would come to the palace frequently: the result is giving so much work to her father he wouldn't be able to see her unless she came to visit! Aha!
He certainly seems to have a good head on his shoulders! But he likes to hide that fact, it seems.

I had the same thoughts about the nabi, @shinsenryuu.
 
@shinsenryuu it wasn't a direct explanation but our MC said the meaning of the nabi has changed in the past five years, I don't know how long the war was but assuming those guards were familiar with his behavior, I think they were as long gone as the prince during that period of time
