Well.... Bit boring, but whatever, better than super cliches.
It's annoying how accurately the author portrayed individuals act whose significant others have just woken up from a coma (or religious fundamentalists who think they know best). Keeping your child or partner in isolation is what leads to them dying or worse.

It's a pity the emperor's chancellor is so piss-poor he can only afford to have a single servant. So, when the servant was busy, there was nobody else available to accompany the daughter. No wonder he wanted to resign when his pay is lower than any random official's.
