If i remember correctly, Legosi's mother had a hard time fitting in society because of her half reptilian blood, right?

This series is freaking godlike lmfao. The last thing I expected was the Beastar thread connecting Louis to Legosi getting tied back from Yafya and Legosi's gramps. Deepest freaking lore lol. Even better now that Legosi dropped out but inherited his Gramps' noble spirit

But did not the author say at the beginning of the manga that only the young could become beastar? o_O
Let me be clear is not that I do not mind the turn that is taking this manga, but I see a contradiction that first writes something and then this happens. °-°
 
Not really a contradiction; way I read it, Beastar is a title that can be awarded every graduation (though it usually doesn't get awarded, due to a lack of qualified candidates). It's pretty much a title that sticks with you unless it gets stripped for some egregious behavior. If you look at it that way, at any given time, there's probably 20-30 of them about at any given time, doing various things. Most probably aren't doing a superhero schtick, kicking people around though.

...Or maybe I'm totally misremembering what was said about it, making my ramble entirely pointless. Wouldn't be the first time.

You can reread chapter 53 to understand more. It not a contradiction because:
1. Yafya is a sublime beastar. He different from a normal beastar. There are many beastar but there is only few sublime beastar (right now it only one)
2. Normal beastar got chosen by their school (base on what i count, there 12 schools can do this). Because of this beastar usually young (not highschool graduated).
I don’t know how sublime beastar was chosen, but there are usually 12 beastar per year and the fact that he still the only sublime beastar do make me wonder.
 
@Golder Ah, thanks. I'm on lousy airport wifi so I couldn't find where that chapter was. Looks like I was combining a few different things. According to that chapter, there are twelve schools from which a Beastar is chosen from each before graduation, but for some reason, Cherryton, 'our' school, hasn't released one in four years. They get additional training and whatnot after graduation and can be promoted to a Sublime Beastar... It says one WILL be promoted, but I feel that, like every school producing a Beastar, it isn't absolutely guaranteed. Cherryton also produces the most Sublimes, so maybe it's a case of unusually high standards for them?
 
Yafya is 51 years old already. He sure doesn't look like it.
And Legosi's grandpa Gosha was quite a rebel in a way.

Quite interesting. Good that this manga is getting a bit better after the battle and training bullshit.

Besides... I'm pretty sure the mouth situation with Komodo Dragons is bacteria-based. It isn't like he'd make his own poison if he, for instance, brushed his teeth regularly. If his mouth is still poisonous, it is probably because he has shit oral hygiene.
 
@SotiCoto That's actually a misconception, Komodo Dragons do have venomous glands, and recent studies have shown that they actually have good mouth hygiene.

it seems like Legosi has both traits from his Grandparents, hhahahh! lol
