The relationship with seafolk is so weird in the story and this makes me think...the seafolk have a designated neighborhood, none of the carnivores seem to eat fish even though the seafolk are cool with it, they teach conversational seaspeak at a very prestigious private school, and it's rare to find seafolk around the city.
