BEASTARS - Vol. 19 Ch. 166 - Please Give Me Your Body's Fate

ah, a classic Haru in its natural habitat, running into another trouble yet again!

I love how everyone is realizing how dumb haru is right now.
BUT IM STILL A HARUFAG TILL I DIE!
BEST WAIFU HARU!

HARU YOU'RE SO DUMB BUT I GUESS THAT'S JUST HOW YOU ARE

FALLING IN LOVE WITH A DEER THAT WON'T MARRY YOU
FALLING IN LOVE WITH A WOLF THAT TRIED TO EAT YOU
LETTING YOURSELF GET EATEN BY A RANDOM TA

Also is it me or was Haru's herbivore way just nihilism (can't change anything so why even bother), and now that Legosi really, really wants her to live so they could have a life together, which appeals to her, she's having a tough time reconciling who she was and who she wants to be?

every time melon shows up it's the dumbest fucking shit and I just check out that much more

wake me when he's dead and we can go back to storylines that make some fucking sense

@nikolairiot You're 100% right man. Everything without Melon is fine, everything involving him is braindead.

Puts such a damper on things, no idea why Paru thought Melon was worth anything more than a minor villain role. Shit should've been over with when he got caught at the party or right after when he somehow tricked Legosi into letting him go (running right into Yahya's path as he makes his escape).

Then Yahya gets to teach Legosi a valuable lesson in trust based on shared commonalities and space would be freed up for a better plotline than shitty leopard-gazelle Joker induces stupidity in everyone every time he's on panel for no reason at all.

every page of this chapter except the last two: "wow, what a return to form! this is that weird, personal, character study shit I love about beastars."

last two pages: oh, it was setting up more nonsensical melon shit all along. gg

Really, why did Legosi fall for her again? It's simply because he unintentionally hug / assault her and realise how fragile she is and how he wants to protect her....... Which mean literally every small animal in the world counts too?

@nikolairiot Storylines in this manga have never made any sense. The lion yakuza picking the high school kid who murdered their old leader to be their new leader was nonsensical. A high school security guard putting a student in charge of solving an on-campus murder was nonsensical. The plotlines in this manga have always been the absolute stupidest shit and I don't know why people are only just now noticing with the Melon nonsense.
