You're quite wrong. Let me explain why. The people who made this statement, that Louis was kidnapped, were his company employees. Motive is extremely important. What motive does a criminal syndicate have for kidnapping the new figurehead to an extremely powerful corporation? We know what the Shishigumi's motive really is, but Louis's employees and the police do not. They can *only* imagine that this was done, with the intent for some kind of gain on the mafia's side. The only logical reason they would kidnap Louis was to profit. That is how his employees and the police see this situation.
That a very nonsensical sentence. Also the reason no call has been made is because they are trying to get away from the police. You don't call in a ransom while still running from the police, that would make no sense. I've logically reasoned out why Hot Chocolate chose the right term, but go ahead and keep it as abduction. It'll turn into Abduction in future chapters once they know the Shishigumi didn't want anything, sure. But it's just plain wrong in this chapter.
Admit when you're wrong and make the change. That's what it means to be a releaser of content. They all make mistakes. Don't be so proud you let a mistake go by.
