Some authors somehow end up portraying secondary characters better than the main ones, but still expect the readers to like the main character more than the secondary one (speaking about Trigger in particular). It's a pity Trigger has no chance. Would be refreshing to see him and Chloe together and the archduke forever alone. I have nothing against cliches per se, but they need to be done well. This author keeps failing at improving the archduke's image even trying so hard for so many chapters. The only reason I haven't dropped the manhwa yet is because the author's attempts are unintentionally hilarious.
