I think our suspicion is validated in a way. This doctor is basically offering up what is a "Miracle" to Lily and we all know miracles don't come often.
If this doc wasn't able to heal her regularly until NOW with heath's introduction, I can't help but feel like there's something experimental or immoral involved with danger in this method.

I sense another trial ahead regardless.
