Because I'm an Uncle Who Runs a Weapon Shop - Ch. 48

well the story got pretty bad but the ending for the demon is pretty appropriate. To repent by being unable to repent, something I can't say I've seen employed before.

Okay, that power is so OP now but I love it. Also, I like how Nightmare says that Uncle isn't the first person to say that to her. It goes to show that there were many good people before him that tried.

Wait, huh, what?
So was this arc just a burial arc for Leon? And we will (most likely) never see him, the princess and the yandere ever again?
And the old man will just continue his random journey to find One Piece another waifu better blacksmith techniques?

And this could also work as a good axe arc for the whole series, just add "fin" to the final page and you are done.

Yikes... a tragedy tag needs to be added to this. Also, the swing in tone is way too fast and jarring.

I am so confused by this arc, like what has Uncle really learned from this, apart from Nightmare? The MC essentially took a seat while the author told an unrelated story??

This ending is w/e considering what happens in a couple of chapters. LMAO.

That end is still tragic that demon girl even if she don't kill people anymore they gonna suicide too you cannot save anyone.
And the donkey speech looks like a southerner USA citizen (Texan) yee-haw !

That ending is unlikely. There would be any number of people she could save in a violent world, even more if she can do something about diseases with her magic. It's not like every single person she's able to save could possibly be randomly killed right afterwards. That would be a super powerful curse already, not only affecting her but also all people around her. Finding companions, who aren't scumbags, might be trickier, but also not impossible by far.

@Cyoteblack If there's one thing I've learned from reading manhua and Chinese novels, it's that the Chinese authors often go crazy with numbers.

I know I know that it is fiction and so and so

but the universe is only 13,700,000,000 years old

And finally back to the story I came here for, an uncle who runs a weapon shop!

I can't say I liked this arc, but this chapter was good closure. It's just this arc is "misplaced" in the story, truth is I couldn't care less about Leon and Aria and the demon lady because we had no exploration of their characters beforehand. Maybe first the author should have gotten ZaoHe to explore Leon's past , probably after fulfilling the original purpose of the journey.
