About there only being one of each sin at the time, does the chimera count? Or is it "incomplete" as Greed mentions. If not I assume it's envy, because Lust doesn't seem to have their weapon

Another thing, I want to read the novel, should I start on the 1st chapter, or should I start from where it currently is?

No, chimera is not the sin, it's simply an experimental artificial creature. As for the novel. You've got web novel and light novel. I am more familiar with the web novel as more of it has been translated. I would recommend starting form the first chapter as manga skips a lot of things. However if you want to continue from here, this chapter is around chapter 55 of the web novel.
 
This seems like an obvious setup for "if she dies, you'll go berserk and kill all the monsters easy peasy, but if you just went and did it out of your own volition..."
