That knight is one of the biggest deus ex machina the manga world has ever seen. Always appearing at the right, convenient moment, almost no background, so that Miura isn‘t bound by that pesky thing called „logical character-arc“.

Berserk is really the most overrated manga I‘ve read. Decent Golden Age-Arc, everything else is just Michael Bay-style mindless action and pedo-/rape-bait.

Artwork is great though. Dude should find an actual good author and team up with him/her.
