@Lililac deadass like she cant even tell eugene cause hes also a child and getting pressured. like look at him! he got his leg injured cause his family is tryna kill him! and somehow shell tell him and hell magically make it all disappear? eugene is not an idiot, he knows theyre trying to take control of the ducal house from him, the things that he just doesnt know are the abuse shes going through and the emotional manipulation and brain washing of claude and erich.

also a lot of people seem to forget that she wasnt that much mentally strong to begin with. she was passive in her last life because she didnt want to cause trouble to the family that she felt she owed her life to. shes also a victim of so many things but somehow yall expect her to overcome it. shes a mary sue because shes doing the thing that she did in her past life which is be passive and only occasionally stand up to the brothers that demeaned her so much (a common thing in abuse victims). but if she somehow overcomes all that and starts plotting and being extra then shes gonna be a mary sue too. so like,,, whats the win??? yall just hate???

There's some progression, but it's just mostly with the characters rather than the plot.

Cabel is starting to open up again now that he knows that his family doesn't resent him for being the only survivor.
We're starting to see Eugene slowly break down from feeling unreliable when it comes to his family.
We're getting more insight on people who are trying to take advantage of the death of the Duke and Duchess, including that crappy Aunt. But now we know that they'd go as far as even intentionally letting Eugene get hurt in order to get a piece of that pie. But we also see that the kids are, at least, aware of this.
Hari is starting to defend herself, even if it's only in small ways. And she's definitely getting more protective of her brothers than she once was.

I'm actually concerned about Erich. He seems to need some medical help since he doesn't appear to be coping well. But at least he's slowly (very slowly) opening up to Hari, as well. But Aunt doesn't seem to like that.

I really hate the aunt, I'm happy Hari is starting to fight back. But I feel like she will have a breakdown soon because she feels like she cant do anything ;;___;; hopefully all four siblings get together and have a talk.. and the missing letters! Perhaps the uncle or aunt had something to do with it. I truly hate the aunts guys. It definitely seems like shes trying to replace Eugene with the youngest sibling because she thinks hes easier to control. And it's obvious that the aunt hates Hari and isnt afraid to do anything or say anything in front of her, to the point where I think she'll try to drive Hari out of the house because she finds her disgusting..

yeah I get what's happening I just meant that the pacing is way too slow and not in a good way. the author is dragging out the arc by having a bunch panels of panels where no one is doing anything

like I'm a fan of character development and I'm still invested in the story but it's kinda boring to scroll through chapters with 30% content and 70% empty drawings

The pacing is really slow...when will they grow up though
