now that i think about it. Hari wouldn't have been given a second chance at life if it's just gonna end the same; her marrying Johan and Eugene marrying Volentia. As i have said, Eugene and Hari were given a second chance to rewrite their story, it's up to Hari now to correct the wrongs.
