@Sakai I agree with @Mitsuboshi and @Hollow7F. As seen in chapter 24, the brat is doing whatever he can to wallow in his fantasy world, even if he knows if he's being dishonest with Ayano-san. Feeling guilty isn't going to stop him but getting the shit beat out of him might.

Frankly, I'm surprised that the Yousei hasn't yet realized that the only reason his "friend" is now coming over so often is to leer at his mom. If this trend continues much longer, I'll probably drop the series. That "friend" is just too irritating.

If his age is 11 or 12 or at least 13, I'd undertstand that since at that age, boys are probably just awakening their sexual desires and knows nothing.. But looking at them they probably are 16-17, an age where they should at least know that constantly looking at someone's mother and getting sexually attracted to the said person is very wrong..
