Wasted opportunity, but then again him being wuss like that is also the reason why we haven't seen something dark in this story yet

@agtra You should look elsewhere to satisfy your juvenile prurient curiosity. Try searching for series marked as "Smut" or "Hentai" and you'll find plenty of stuff to titillate your fancy.

@franky09 @vrzxck I think I've figured out why the son is so oblivious: he's inherited his mom's overwhelming airhead trait. Of course there's the possibility that he's just gotten used to men of all sorts lusting over his mom and has chosen to ignore it. Nonetheless, the "friend" needs to be transferred to a school on the very Northern-most tip of Hokkaido.

Why get rid of him? He's obnoxious and has perverted thoughts, but he doesn't ACT on them. Well, that's my take on it, cuz I think that if we start policing thoughts it will be like one of those dictator states.

@kenx he doesnt have to act on his thoughts but that doesnt mean he should be going to his friends house thinking about & staring at his mom plus there is the fact I just dont like him lmaooo like your mom can be fine asl dont mean Imma go to your crib n stare at her thats jus weird
 
@kenx Leering at your friend's sleeping mom through the open door of her bedroom is not just having perverted thoughts, it is passive aggressively acting on them. Intentionally going to your friend's house when you know he is not home so you can leer at his mother is not just having perverted thoughts, it is passive aggressively acting on them. It's only a matter of time before he loses control and goes beyond his creepy perverted ways.

I don't know why the mangaka is constantly injecting this creep into chapters. Is it supposed to be funny? Is it supposed to provide an avenue of self-insertion for the virgin otaku audience? It certainly doesn't seem like any kind of social commentary other than all men (except the son, so far) are creepy perverts.

If you don't like the idea policing thoughts, you might consider finding a different place to read manga and comment on what you read since mangadex is one of those "dictator states" you refer to which polices thoughts by giving members the ability to block other users as well as actually removing comments that go beyond the bounds of the house rules.

Ah, I see. I don't tend to read too much into manga since it's, y'know, manga and japanese mangaka like to insert any kind of female character whenever they can. Would this work if it was an old(?) man instead of an old(?) woman? Maybe. It's Japan.

Why is this site like that? It doesn't have the feature of occulting comments from view if a lot of people dislike it, and the option of blocking is just that, an option. If you use it, well, you use it and that's it. Also, if you consider normal mod power being equal to thought policing, then most of the sites and forums would be "dictatorial". What's more, with that definition, most (all) countries would be "dictatorial" since they have police that removes you if you don't comply with the rules.

EDIT: In my first post, I was referring to we, the users, not the site. Sorry if that caused confusion.
 
Huh...

Dunno why but brought up memories of when I had a Chinese language tutor. She'd tutor me after her day job at the bank, so she'd be in her business formal attire; blouse, business skirt and jacket, with heels...

And one day I just started out asking to let me try different knots on her.

Is it creepy? Yeah, but I'm not reading manga (at least, not this one) for some titillating essay on the human condition - this is just (admittedly dumb) humor lol

Small translation revision update. I mistranslated one bubble and the rest that relied on it for context got slightly off. Fixed.
 
I knew it, they both see her as a kid or a girl so they let their guard down but yeah... Can I like... Get 3 or 5 chapters without the friend? he's been there too much already and the synopsis says that this is the story of the mom and the son being awkward not the mom and the son's friend
