I've never once thought cleaning my ears felt good. Not to mention that by its nature it involves cleaning gunk out of someone's ear, which kills the intimacy angle that animanga always goes for.

Many Asians have whitish, dry, flakey ear wax which isn't nearly as disgusting as wet, yellow ones that also happens to stink. I've had my ears cleaned like this and never felt it was gross or disgusting in any way. Incidentally, it's also related to genes that controls body odor. Many SE Asians are very resistant to armpit odor. I could go for a week in the woods camping with no shower and while there will be parts of me that will get pretty funky, not my armpits.
