Professor-san teaches liberal arts in college? Isn't he a biologist? And even then his class in this chapter was clearly oriented in biology.

So they're coming up with color codes in this chapter but in chapter 9 you could clearly see they had those colors on the necks of their birdsuits already? Are we just supposed to assume they didn't notice and it was a coincidence?

Or maybe they weren't supposed to be color coded until this chapter and it was colored that way in chapter 9 by accident.
