So, it looks like some of Birdy's personality has rubbed off/carried over onto Tsutomu's. I think I can appreciate this development. They both needed to edge towards each other's personality some. He was too passive/self-centered and she was too reckless.

With that survival instinct, she probably would have drowned the next time it rained anyway. And Tsutomu showing his determination again. You know what that means? Birdy goes to sleep and we get a timeskip where no one stops the bad guys. Also have we seen Hayamiya yet?
