Black & White - Ch. 5 - Educational Policy

>squigles is picking it up
If the other scans don't come back, then I guess I have to drop this now.
Reading the original Japanese with a toddlers understanding of Japanese is infinitely preferable to trying to read this may-as-well-be machine-translated dogshit.

@Edalwulf
sos if im still getting better, tho i have u know we have professional proofreaders!草草
I hope they continue covering it, even if it's slow (chapter 6 is out), I wanna learn so much from them!!!!
I mostly do translations bc it's good practice, especially at grammar that I find difficult

and I'm not squiggles-nee-chan, tho I can't count the number of times ppl confuse us, bc i credit squiggles group

I really don't get this manga. I don't know where the author want to drive us with this. Are they going to end with each other or are the hate sex scenes going to be a gimmick. Like "hey they hate each other so much that they fight and fuck to show who have the upper hand on the other". Author just tell us where are we going with your story already !

@katsuramuki honey, I've translated a fair bit. This one's a little harder with business terms, but I get to learn so much more!

I don't expect mine to be as good as a fluent speaker (I'm N3 ish and studying), and the other group is prob better.

And I pick up dis bc I figure the other group is slower and I just wanna get one out for da horni readers, such as myself. Lol

Please stop, I don't want the previous group to stop scanlating this.

>professional proofreaders
Proofreading doesn't mean spellchecking.

@pizza im guessing they're gonna keep doing it, I loooove the stuff they cover. I'm just tling this bc I really like the series, and wanna use it as an opportunity to learn more Jap.

I really hope they continue at their usual release schedule, bc I really wanna see how they handle things, so I can learn how to translate better etc.

I'm not here to steal it or anything, just doing it bc Ch 6 is already out, and I figure I can learn a lot from their much better translators.

(Aka ppl that want fast, not-so-good quality to can read my version, then come back and re-read the much better one, and I get to learn more loo)

the issue isnt your japanese, its your english lol. people dont complain about legitimately bad translations because they dont read the raws and thus wouldnt know better, the problem is when you have bad grammar and word choice with no punctuation. get "professional proofreaders" that dont have english as a second language, that might help.

There's no stupider concept in scanlation today, than sniping. The more versions available, the better and richer for getting the original intent across.

Good job @Thelilwitch
Thanks for the alternative scan.
