maybe killy is able to talk to builders and scan faces because he's now on a higher level, above that impenetrable barrier? so any signal from above isnt blocked? his passing out may have been necessary to download the info he needed for that. but then how does the cyborg know about his functions? what does it imply? i really like this atmosphere the manga sets up, reading it seems like a chore but its also rewarding
also, what could they be extracting from the bodies?
