@ribbitribbitsaga The point of Toki being a doctor is to inherit his family's clinic, and their parents don't think or want Towa to be the 'heir', so he feels pressured to take on the mantle. Tbh I'm not even sure either one of them wants to inherit the clinic. Toki wants to sing, and we don't know enough about Towa besides she wants her brother to be free from the whole inheritance thing.

I don't remember in which chapter but it was mentioned before that their parents are very strict and basically implied that they gave up on Towa for the way she's and that's why they're pushing him into being the one to inherit their clinic, moreover, just because they allow her to live with them doesn't mean they accept her, they're not just assholes enough to kick her out while she's underage.
