Blue Hearts - Ch. 55 - Farewell

It looks like this is gonna end pretty soon. We’re already on the last character story and then there’s only the exam left.

"Don't call the police"

Why every author come up with this bullshit? No, Nagi won't be in trouple if you call the cops, that doesn't make sense

@BrunoVilla this time it's actually justified. Back then, Nagi was a criminal who did some bad stuff. It may not lead to jail-time, but he will definitely feel it in his peers' perception of him and future opportunities

well we have someone that just got out of jail against a kid that was assaulted by said guy, the results are pretty clear of what the police would do (well in manga town some bs happens)

"You guys should totally leave him with me, the guy who gave him a nasty scar on his back and some cigarette burns"
This guy's a charmer huh

Thanks for translating and happy holidays!!

Wow I wonder how this is going to end

"This guy is really bad news, just look at the scars i gave him when i tortured him."

???

Yeah, I never understood the whole "Don't call the police, they'll get in trouble too." bullshit. Like, no. They won't get in trouble. It's legitimate self-defense. Sure, there might be more of them than the 5 high schoolers, but who are they going to believe? A guy that just got out of prison leading a bunch of shit for brains fighting one high schooler? Or a bunch of high schoolers scared out of their wits (expect Ichijou lol). 😑😑

Feels like he's testing his friends if they mean it. "Lets see what happens next". A born criminal and delinquent won't let a former member so easily off the hook. Just a random guess. It's probably the last arc since problems from the past were solved for anyone but for Yuuhi yet.

What a fucking surprise. Never call the police. This is a Japanese work, after all, where you never call the police, no matter how much sense it makes. Nagi will get caught too? First, is that the concern here? When Nagi is probably get the crap beaten out of him, him getting in trouble is the concern? Second, yeah, it's often pretty true in Japan that the victim gets blamed too. But that just shows how shit the Japanese system is.

@Freestyle Is this a competition? NA police is bad, so ignore the bad shit in Japan? Is that what you're saying?

You can even say that NA police are worse than Japanese police. I don't care. That is irrelevant to me. My only point is that Japanese police are bad for these specific reasons.
