There's one difference between Isagi and Niko. Just one that separates them apart as different characters.

Basically, Isagi has more "experience" playing with Rin. Simply put, Isagi is better off being Rin's personally support that makes the most out of Rin.

Niko can do the same, but he's better off being a defender as he doesn't bring as much as Isagi in terms of being Rin's support
